Peter, as long as you continue to fail to understand and acknowledge the existence of structural racism and other structural forms of oppression you will continue fail to understand the movements against those systems. I recommend reading The New Jim Crow by Michelle Alexander before making your next comment on the subject.

Seeing the world in terms of “us” vs. “them” groups is exactly what got us into this racial divide problem in the first place, so why would this also be the solution, somehow? How do you fix the problem of groups demonizing each other by…demonizing a group as your oppressors? Is doing the exact same thing that you say your enemy is doing going to work simply because you’re the one doing it?
