I need to burn Ch.22 of this episode onto a disk to give to my Mom’s gay-hater of a pastor. What’s the best way? The last time I burned a cd from this website it was different. Can I still do that here, or should I just copy the section I need from the itunes podcast? Thanks Jay! Love you man!

Jacob, cis isn’t a “new word.” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cisgender I derives from Latin, and can be seen being used on the Internet as far back as 1994. I’d call this in, but I was unable to keep up my phone payments after I lost my job in 2012.

Thank you John. Though you should also call in!

And thank you for playing my voice mail, Jay!. I was worried that my anger was going to stop you from airing it and had considered calling back to leave a more measured response but I kept getting angry. Whoops.

I’m so grateful that Christie from Kansas called in with that voicemail. I am still too scared to call in myself, but I came very close this time. I was so frustrated with the guy who simply wanted to just renounce his male, white, cis privilege because it was politically uncomfortable, and I wanted to say pretty much everything Christie said about it. Thankfully, I didn’t have to face my fear, because the BOTL fans are some of the best people in the world, and someone said it for me.
