Joe Klein is the perfect “metaphor” for the blind spot all white people have, whether we think we do or not. We will never, ever, ever know what it’s like to be black in America; therefore, we do NOT get to dictate what changes are needed in our society to evolve past the undeniable racism that was and still is part of our culture. Minorities are not the problem, we are.
