What I want to know is why so many of these commentators keep saying “they might not be giving Pelosi her due” as they deliver their shallow rhetoric. I supported impeachment from the beginning because of the emoluments clause. But I don’t presume to have a stronger understanding of the House of Representatives than Nancy Pelosi. She is undoubtedly the most qualified person in the country to make this call, perhaps in the entire history of Congress. Nobody has more political experience and a clearer view of the chamber than she does. Sure, keep asking. Keep pressuring. Keep talking. But the attacks and insults should stop. All that does is confirm to me that the “pundit” doesn’t know what they are talking about, and make me question their motives. They’re basically click-baiting us.
