The Left lost this last election because they were obsessed with labels. “Everyone that doesn’t think like me is a racist/sexist/homophobe/Islamophobe/fascist/etc.”

I can hardly call the election racist either. I’m sorry, but “illegal immigrant” is not a race, and neither is “Muslim”.

The Left doesn’t have a chance anymore if it keeps focusing on identity politics and so-called “social justice”. It reduces a person to a set of superficial characteristics (race, gender, orientation, etc.) and defines that person as either a victim or perpetrator based on those characteristics. “All white men are privileged”, “All women are victims”, and so forth.

If the Democratic Party ever wants to win an election again, they’re going to need a serious reform and base their platforms on facts, not feelings. This is why I’m pulling for the new Justice Democrats movement. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rj_95Ld2g9I
