Listened to this on the replay this past weekend and it is an OUTSTANDING episode. Yes, the topic hits close to home so it was going to pique my interest anyway, but the chosen clips are such mind blowing material. The very first segment is one I wish would be broadcast on every radio and tv station in the country. Proven results with decriminalization and actually putting that money into HELPING addicts recover. Who knew? (well, a lot of us have known, but YAY that folks are making it happen!)

Great episode. I almost skipped it thinking I already knew what it would say but then I saw it said it would “look deeper at the causes” and “could change your preconceptions”. Definitely did. Thanks. Especially Johann Han on Democracy Now!

Looking deeper at the causes and questioning preconceptions is what makes BOTL special. Keep it up.

Listening to Chris Haynes not believing the NON effects of crack on newborns sounds exactly like anti vaccinators!
