    … so how do we change the economic incentives to create benefits for people and the planet instead of endlessly pursuing maximum growth and profits for shareholders – within a system that exchanges money for labor, goods, and services? Easy – establish democracy in the workplace. If we can’t abolish corporate capitalism and establish our economic rights with a constitutional amendment, we can create democratically controlled public benefit corporations to outcompete the destructive greed in the markets. When the corporate elites attempt to restrict our right to do so, then we revolt.
